About HCS

Founded in 2001 as 'Home Contents Solutions' the company began offering a house clearance service to estate agents and solicitors in the towns and villages of West Sussex. The founder's aim was to provide a service to ensure that the property and possessions of the recently deceased didn't end up in landfill, there were so many charities that could make use of the items but family members couldn't, and in some cases wouldn't spend their time waiting around for the charity vans to collect. So a one hit, take all clearance service was an obvious but rarely  available offering that Home Contents Solutions set out to deliver .

There were already a lot of people offering house clearance services but there was a space in the market for a truly professional company to assist with the difficult task of clearing a family members place of residence.

Fast forward to 2009. Alex Reeves, a long time estate agent and avid antiques hobbyist was looking for a new challenge so he took over the reins of HCS and began to look at ways to develop and expand the services offered. With a growing list of satisfied solicitor clients and many happy estate agents as well as numerous private clients, the range and variety of services HCS offered expanded with each new challenge. The 'never say no' approach that we strive to achieve means that, no matter what the task, we will find a solution.

In 2019 HCS became HCS Estate Services Limited; A fresh new company, still providing the same excellence that our clients have come to expect
